BIMCO

BIMCO is the world’s largest international shipping association, with more than 2,200 members globally. It provides a wide range of services to their global membership – which includes shipowners, operators, managers, brokers and agents.  

BIMCO actively promotes the application of globally agreed regulatory instruments and is accredited as a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) with all relevant United Nations agencies and other regulatory entities. www.bimco.org

CSSF Container Ship Safety Forum

Launched in 2014, the Container Ship Safety Forum (CSSF) is a multicompany initiative to improve safety performance and management in the container shipping industry. It is working toward its vision of creating a container shipping industry with high safety standards, ensuring no harm is caused to people, ships, cargo, and the environment. BSR, a global nonprofit business network and consultancy focused on sustainability, acts as a secretariat and facilitator for CSSF. www.bsr.org

IMPA ACT International Marine Purchasing Association

IMPA ACT is an independent initiative of the International Marine Purchasing Association (IMPA) that seeks to improve the economic, social and environmental compliance of its ship purchaser and supplier members. IMPA ACT represents international best practice and is aligned with UN principles. www.impa-act.org

OAV German Asia-Pacific Business Association

Since its foundation in 1900, OAV has been working as a strong network of German companies with activities in the Asia-Pacific Region. OAV is a privately held non-profit organization financed by its corporate members. Singapore Shipping Association

Verband Deutscher Reeder

The German Shipowners' Association (VDR) represents the common economic and socio-political interests of Gemany's shipping companies at the federal and federal state level.
