Bertram R.C. Rickmers (Chairman Rickmers Holding / Rickmers Reederei)
Bertram R.C. Rickmers is Chairman and main shareholder of Rickmers Holding. He established MCC Marine Consulting & Contracting in 1982 and Rickmers Reederei in 1984 as the starting point of the current ship owning and ship management activities of the Group. Mr Rickmers holds a diploma in economics from the University of Freiburg.
Jan Boje Steffens (Managing Partner and CEO Rickmers Holding / MD Rickmers-Linie)
Jan Boje Steffens joined the Rickmers Group in 2002 as Managing Director of Rickmers-Linie. In 2005 he became the Chief Executive Officer of Rickmers Holding and a partner in 2006. Mr. Steffens holds a diploma in Mathematics and Economics from the University of Kiel. At Rickmers-Linie, he is responsible for the development of the company as the leading liner operator specialising in the global transportation of breakbulk, heavylift and project cargoes.
Dr. Moritz Mittelbach (Managing Partner Rickmers Holding (CFO) / MD Rickmers Reederei)
Dr. Moritz Mittelbach joined the Rickmers Group in 2001 and became Chief Financial Officer in 2005 and a partner of Rickmers Holding in 2006. Since 2003 he is Managing Director of Rickmers Reederei and responsible for corporate finance, treasury and management reporting, project development and commercial management (chartering and operation) for the existing fleet.
Rüdiger Gerhardt (Managing Director Personnel & Administration Rickmers Holding )
Rüdiger Gerhardt joined Rickmers-Linie in 1978. Since 1992 he has been responsible for Finance, Personnel and Administration for Rickmers-Linie and became a Director in 1993. In April 2008, the Partners in Rickmers Holding appointed Mr. Gerhardt to Managing Director of Rickmers Holding GmbH & Cie. KG, responsible for Personnel and Administration for the whole Rickmers Group. He also continues in his previous position as Director in Rickmers-Linie.
